-PRESS RELEASE-
NEW YORK, NY — October 20, 2026 — Transit Out-of-Home (OOH) agency GOOD TRAFFIC has won two Bronze awards at the 84th Annual OBIE Awards for its wrapped vintage taxi campaign with Amazon Prime Video to promote the Spider-Noir series.
The OBIE Awards, owned by the Out of Home Advertising Association of America (OAAA), are known for recognizing bold and impactful work in OOH advertising. In September, its shortlist of nominations included GOOD TRAFFIC’s campaign in three categories: Experiential & Immersive OOH, Entertainment & Media OOH, and Production & Build Craft. During the OBIE Awards ceremony on October 15, 2026, GOOD TRAFFIC and Amazon Prime Video were announced as the winners of two Bronze awards in the Experiential & Immersive OOH and Entertainment & Media OOH categories.
“Bringing this campaign to life was all about taking Spider-Noir street-level,” said GOOD TRAFFIC CCO Alberto Mestre. “The idea was to make the audience feel like they were experiencing the series in real life.”
The winning OOH campaign launched in May of 2026 when the Spider-Noir series premiered. The campaign consisted of three wrapped vintage taxis topped with custom 3D Spider-Man figures, mirroring the noir aesthetic of the series. The three taxis drove around New York City for seven days, each focusing on a target neighborhood in high-density, tourist-driven areas where they were sure to capture maximum attention.
“It was our job to execute and launch this activation, but its success was only possible because of our amazing team and partners,” continued Mestre. “We see this campaign as proof that experiential activations are where the future of OOH is headed, and we’re looking forward to leading the way.”
