Wrapped cars in tartan for VisitScotland during 2026 FIFA World Cup in Boston; cars are positioned in parking lot to mirror the lineup of the Scottish football team

VISITSCOTLAND BRINGS THE HEART OF THE HIGHLANDS TO BOSTON

Context

In Summer 2026, the Scotland Men’s National Team made an appearance at the world’s largest soccer event for the first time since 1998.

Solution

The GOOD TRAFFIC team launched eleven full-wrapped electric vehicles, including one with a custom soccer ball topper, for this high-impact brand activation. The fleet was wrapped in the Scottish Football Association’s tartan and each car featured the names of 11 members of the current squad. For nine days, the vehicles targeted specific event locations across Boston, including Boston Common, Fenway, The Haven, and The Anchor.

The cars drew attention wherever they went and messaging on the car encouraged people to make their ‘Next Stop, Scotland.” Premium additions such as the custom topper, VIP rides, in-car tablets, and inside window decals, gave passengers and passersby an interactive experience and Scottish food and drink product samples allowed people to experience a taste of Scotland. The activation left a lasting impression across the city.
